Many people rush into buying a power generator without giving a lot of thought to the different kinds available and to the intended use. The small gas units which can be bought relatively cheaply at the discount and hardware stores are totally not suited to any serious, hard work, and particularly any continuous running. We have heard many stories of customers being talked into these units and they either disintegrate at the first sign of hard work, or they just don't perform. Diesel generators actually burn less than half the fuel that it would take for a gas generator to do the same job.
